Jury

The Cincho Awards Jury is composed of highly respected professional tasters, both nationally and internationally, all of them linked to the dairy sector and firmly committed to quality and excellence. Their experience and expertise ensure a rigorous and objective evaluation of the samples submitted to the competition.

Their role is to ensure a technical and sensory assessment of each sample, in accordance with international standards. The evaluation is carried out based on criteria such as appearance, texture, aroma, flavour and persistence, ensuring a consistent and reliable assessment process.

Each member contributes their technical knowledge and sensory expertise, enabling well-founded, comparable and balanced evaluations, and providing a global perspective that enriches the evaluation process.


The competition is conducted through blind tastings, in which cheeses are presented anonymously to guarantee impartiality. Judges work in multidisciplinary teams and evaluate the samples using a computerised system that ensures the traceability and confidentiality of the results until their official announcement.

All Jury members adhere to the ethical principles of the competition: independence, confidentiality, professionalism and respect for participants. The diversity of their backgrounds and profiles reflects the international nature and credibility of the competition.
